Shadehouse for CP and orchid
Hi guys. We just moved into our new house in the coastal town of Gordons Bay in South Africa. We have a dry hot Mediterranean climate. The problem is that we have strong winds during the summer time, 65 to 80km/h. To block the wind I want to construct a shade house at the back of the house where most of the wind is blocked. I want to use 50% shade cloth and polycarbonate sheeting for the roof to still let in bright light. Does anyone have any construction plans for a shade house for windy area?
I have a collection of D capensis, S Leucophylla and Godzuki, Dionea, Nep Miranda and Veitchii and some orchids. Thank you |
Re: Shadehouse for CP and orchid
Construct a "prison" for them if it is possible for you, else you might have all your plant blow off to some where else
