Those red forms from Cameron last time are extremely beautiful:wub:, entire plant in dark maroon colour. But they turned greenish maroon after a while in the lowland weather.:bored:
Please tell us if this one maintain it's colour.

I hope it retain its color as well. When I got it, it just have 1 leaf. Leaf at right hand side is produce at my house. Will update it after 1 month.

i wonder why in lowland, the colour faint a?

YGs are red but once bring down, very hard to have that type of intense red/maroonish??

if sun,we've gave a lot.

anyways uncle KC,
i wonder why your VFTs dont rot in pure sphagnum moss and given water tray?

i had killed a few VFTs few months back and all of them died because of rot.and some of them died by growing very long leaves, then week by week,it grow more upright leaf but shorter, and shorter, shorter till its very short and died though had already face cold dormancy few months before...

i hope my current vft wont die.

VFT need to have 10'c difference in day and night in order to show off their potential color.

All my VFT keep in water tray and doing well

yea, there is overflow hole at the tray. The hole is around 1cm~2cm from base of water tray.

If your area is very hot and dry, water tray is a must. My area is very humid, so I don't use the water tray. Grow in pure LFS too. Mine is the typical, but has some reddish colour in the middle of the trap

Keep us updated casey, I'm curios whether it can retain it's stunning reddishness. Then I would consider buying

Re: VFT "clayton red sunset"

Is it green bait or it's just the lighting I am growing them in????
I am currently growing them under lighting because the weather this few days at my house is hot in the day and raining heavily......the droplets are also very big........
So I dont dare to put them outside when I am not at home........

I love it....thx uncle kc...*biggrin2*

Still waiting for short teeth VFTs:tongue:
