Calvary Carnival 2008

Just got back from the Calvary Carnival. It was a good event with about 50% of our plants sold. Many thanks to Tarence for getting the space at the carnival and for working so hard organising the event for PetPitcher. Also for working so hard talking about the forum and carnivorous plants to customers until you lost your voice. And to Edmund, we must have more members like you... Helping to load and unload plants and stuff in his MPV yesterday and today. Without your help I would not be able to take everything to the carnival in my tiny Proton iswara aeroback. You work so hard promoting carnivorous plants and the forum today. I wonder where you got your energy from.

Thanks guys. If I can say so, you guys did a good job today.

Here's some pictures to share...

Most welcomed David...it`s a long arduous journey to promote carnivorous plants to the public but well, i`m willing. little by little we educate the public & hopefully, by the time i retire from work ( like in 2 decades time ), we will have more CP growers here.

Who knows, from these events, some contacts we met ( like Hussein, who showcases exotic pets ) might have a slot for us somewhere & get our foot into another door.

and hopefully lots of the folks who bought our plants will log in & be our new members. i think at least 10 of them were genuine CP-ers.

I remember the pastor calling me the Carnivor Guy. heheh.

thx Edmund for your tremendous help. you spoke to more folks than David & i. heheh. yeah, great energy levels.

David, hopefully we get to do more events like this in the future.
