Re: Yes...YES!!!
yes, bleached them most conscientiously... could it be that some of the seeds have been in the fridge for too long? some are 3 weeks old.
how long can byblis seeds be stored and still be viable? |
Re: Yes...YES!!!
My first try with Byblis was quite successful: i had close to 100% germination rate. In fact, my germination pot was so crowded I had to move some somewhere else (MISTAKE!:spinning:)
Now, 2 months on, they've stopped growing. Dewy, but growing very slowly. The tallest is about 2 inches high. I hope you have better luck than me  |
Re: Yes...YES!!!
Byblis don't like their roots getting disturbed. I grew all my seeds in a small pot and it was so crowded. I moved 1 plant to another pot. Now the one in the other pot is still so short but my other plants have already flowered and produced seeds.

Re: Yes...YES!!!
I know, I learnt that the hard way :(
Either way, neither the moved or un-moved ones are growing well for me! |
Re: Yes...YES!!!
oo yikes...I moved three of them into a terrarium but they seem to do well.

Re: Yes...YES!!!
If they're small enough they shouldn't die, but they'll grow real slowly. Just wait...

Re: Yes...YES!!!
another lot of byblis seeds are germinating well so i'll have quite a few now - i sowed all my august byblis seeds just in case they lose their viability.

Re: Yes...YES!!!
