My VFT are getting taller and no more ground-hugging. Why?

In fact, VFT name had been mislabelled for some reasons.
I will consider those typical looking unregistered cultivar as 'Typical' No matter it is Big trap, Fang, Dutch or anything common. (all Typical)
At first I thought it is all green for your species. Well. For VFT, they are monogen.... I forget how to spell it. Anyone?
There must some percentage of red genes in them. At least you have colour for your VFT now. http://s3.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif
