Newly purchased plant often suffered from stress and dehydration while potting into new medium. A well drain medium like 60% sphagnum moss/ 40% perlite and keep in cool shade, water only when the media look dry. It will take approx.,3 weeks for the plant to bounce back. But it depend very much on your surrounding and you have to monitor it everyday.

sphagnum moss alone will be fine just that it should not be over watered. The roots need to breath, else will lead to root rot. If the sphag. moss was too wet take them n the amp out squeezed the excess water out of the sp.moss then pot back.

Now, what i gave it was indirect sunlight and every night it will spent their night in the bathroom....Media was using sphagnum moss....One of the forumer told me that they can tolerate with that....but still not sure...

BAthroom has low light levels that can lead to rot....They can tolerate sphag moss but only water every two days...cut the leaves into half and cover it with and plastic bag and poke holes on it like edward says. Hope your ampularia survives
