Carraluma sp

I think its C. diffusa. An unusual succulent that bears bunches of dark maroon flowers after rains. Flowers smell strongly of ammonia, but only up close. The blooms last 3 days and have a velvety texture. Easy to grow and propagated by cuttings.

Do you grow them outdoor and exposed to our rain or it needs shelter?

Hi han, I grow outdoors, exposed to rain and sun. Watered everyday (but just a bit) along with everything else because it is grown in full sun..

I could imagine it could become quite fantastic when clumps of this little succulent are grown and flower in build up rockery in the outdoor.
