My frenz who have had it for 5 years still don`t have to worry about the climbing stage as it still hasn`t reached it yet by that period of time. If it does happen, you can always `stalk` it by putting a piece of good quality wood right beside it to climb.....

I don't think so truncatas will ever climb. I also have one which is 6 years old. It is only about 1 feet now. But perhaps I've not grown mine long enough. However, like what Jeff says, I've not seen a climbing truncata before.
