Just watched the new series Terra Nova. found CPs there. It looks like a hooded pitcher plant but with trigger hairs at the opening of the traps and the opening closes like a VFT.

Was a bit dissapointed with that. Afterall the traps of CPs are already very effecient in trapping insects... i mean for those that do not move. But perhaps since the movie was about humans going back to the dinasour age, perhaps the CPs have not evolved to be more efficient.

In some really distant relation, that pitcher reminds me of Aliens.....from Alien vs Predator.

Yea i saw that episode too...Reminded me of sarr minor or helimaphora.
