haha. today,a weird thing and shaped happen on my nep....my nep is flowering,hope it is a female...and this is it pitcher...also ID pls

Thats a mixta x fusca if im not wrong...... I use to have it once and its a male

ya.. looks like x gentle. If it is... it's most probably a male. I have it flowered before but funny, no pollen powder produced, seems like sterile... :crying:

finally the first flower already opened...it is a male...and the weird smell already around the plant

i also don't know how to describe it smell,but it really weird.....nothing to do with the flower...just leave it bloom

It usually smell like pandan.... Try to check if you can see the yellow part becomes powderly... mine doesn't do that so I can't collect it's pollen to be use. :sweating:

yes the smell can be musky, like some men's perfume:tongue:
