D.spatulata leaf
My D.spatulata is growing shorter leaves now. What could this mean?
By the way, its been 4 days now after a rain washed all it dews off. |
Re: D.spatulata leaf
I've found that higher light levels and flowering will cause the leaves to grow smaller. Have you moved it to a brighter spot? Are the leaves a red or pink color? The rain is not a factor, I've completely submerged my spatulata when watering.

Re: D.spatulata leaf
Is the plant under stress like not enought water?
All things constant, if my plant leaf grow smaller, I feed it. |
Re: D.spatulata leaf
The spot where my plant is brighter than the usual. the leaves are green.
Its still producing good dew and being able to capture lots of insect. |
Re: D.spatulata leaf
Well is it some sort of fungus attack???? Any signs of abnormal leaves or a sudden death of older traps?? There are some sundews which might not like the hit from the rain (but i might be mistaken for pings) Anyways just continue on keep it wet and give it a lot of sunlight

Re: D.spatulata leaf
Kentosaurs-I think its not I fungus attack. All leaves are normal except for their length, the new leaves are shorter than the older ones beneath them.
Ill try to post a pic later Thanks for everyone who replied. |
