That's a nice hybrid. This is the first time seeing this beauty. Very healthy plant too. Looks like the ampullaria genes is more dominant. I do not see the waist on the picthers that is N. ventricosa's "trademark"... Hmm, now I have to get one...

I realised your media mix is very airy, kinda like growing orchids. Is it wood chips and charcoal chips? How often do you have to water the plant?

@aliamyz: sure no problem, can try to check with him.

@david: thanks, the mixes I used is coco chips, pine bark, charcoal, pumice and bit of spaghnum moss. I watered them twice a day. Yes, the amp gene is stronger but the pitcher is kind of elongated and got the peristome of ventricosa, will take a clearer picture later on. This is also known as x garden tech, seeds grown from BE.

Great looking pitchers you have there. Certainly has the cloration of the amp. The lid also looks to have taken more from the amp than the ventricosa.

Thanks for the explaination Ed. That's really an airy mix. Some more the pots have holes at the side. I think I will try this. I think my neps will grow much better like that. Hmm, just the watering part. won't be able to water them twice-a-day...

@strath76: Thanks and indeed more amps then ventricosa in this stage, but hopefully the pitcher will look better as they grow, probably the ventricosa will show in upper, time will tell.

@david: Yes, I am growing most of my neps with those pots with lots of holes on the side now, looks like they really like it, and no problem so far.
I am lucky to have someone do the watering part for me when I am away at work.
