Accident of S. x chelsonii
Today, i had just report on my sarracenia and accidentely found out that they had already separated themselves through roting....sweat is it?:spinning::tongue:

Phoon, that is nice... BTW, the media that you use seems like not spagnum moss, may i know what is that?

that one er........i just know chinese only, i was using the mixture of 碳烧泥 and 黑炭泥 with a ratio of 3:1, not sure that it will live or not, but new shoots is emerging and the chrysanthemum stem beside it had grow new shoots(the photo is taken before the chrysanthemum is planted) ..... =)

Today, i had found a very serious problem for my sarracenia, i was spotted some diseases on it :crying::crying:
Please, if anyone have any solution on it, i did not got any fungicide, and my mom was calling me to cut it..... Dunno if they can survive of the media of yours...looks like burnt clay...your word mean "charcoal burnt earth" and "black coal earth"?

You use burn soil and black soil???!!!! I dont think the plant will survive in it... It is better change it to peat moss or spagnum moss...

i was using a little bit of black soil and organic soil but mostly compost of burn soil, should i change it?

What organic soil!! They hate nutrients in the soil!!

Yes, you must!! Sarracenias should be grown in acidic media WITHOUT any nutrients at all. Organic soil and black soil, no matter how little is very risky. And sarracenias do not thrive in burnt soil. Change to pure LFS.
