Any idea what species is this? Link---> http://dcancerian.blogspot.com/2008/...led-scary.html p/s: I bought the light pink hoya carnosa... and the small red hoya-like flower is a Dischidia sp rite? |

Hmmm, I just had a wild collected cutting from last year bloom for the first time and it looks very similiar. Your picture was a little blurry so I can't tell 100%. I thought mine was one of three species (Verticillata/acuta/parasitica) but sent pictures to the 'experts' and they came back with something totally different; H. ridleyi! Here are a few shots, see if it is the same; http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...8/IMG_9214.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...8/IMG_9212.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...8/IMG_9201.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...8/IMG_9186.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...8/IMG_9187.jpg By the way, yes that 3rd one is a dischidia, can't recall the species just now, but it IS 5 am! |
Re: Hoya sp
Errr... I'm not very sure... It looks like yours... Plant is almost the same I think... It looks like H. verticillata too... And almost like H. parasitica too... And H. acuta as well (Smack loudly on forehead) I tot it can be identifiable after if blooms... More headache actually... Hehehe...Will post better pix later lor... Langkawi is raining cats, dogs and pickup trucks at the moment....
