D.Burmannii seed care

Hi everyone

I recently got some seeds of a burmanni thanks BTW...And was just thinking how long did they take to germinated for you? The last time i sowed sphatulata only 2 germinations and i don't think any will germinate any more..So far quite slow growing unlike most people saying droseras grow fast from seed..And also for intermedia cuba from casey so far nothing yet but nah quite new for the moment..I always sow them in peat but for burmannii this time i sowed in pure LFS trying to change my luck a bit..And this time at least can see the "seeds". I asked edward he said his germinated in about a week soo just asking how long yours took..And do they really grow fast from seed?

Drosera growing quite fast after they've germinated, if they are getting enough sun light. Try increase the sunlight at your place see if this help.
D. burmanii seeds germinate in 1 to 2 weeks time depending on freshness of the seeds.

These seedlings will grow even faster if you feed them. Some seedlings will even go into decline and die if they are not fed. Spring tails can provide a fine source of food for many young Drosera seedlings, or any other small insect matter that you can find, I have used frozen blood worms (mosquito larvae) with excellent results. :1thumbup: - Rich
