Metal wire didnt hurt Tillandsia?
 

Im always wonder whether Metal wire that grower always use to hang tillandsia hurt the plant? Since some of them put under direct sunlight? No burn from hot metal?

Hi Casey,
I'm not too sure whether it does hurt the plant or not. I don't use metals to mount my plants as I find it looks very odd. ( solely my own personal taste only). Have seen some nurseries using them but eventually the plant die off after the steel rusted off.
Maybe there are other forumers have better experience than me who can answer you better.

Metal wire will not burn the tilly. But once it started to get rust, it will hurt your plant.
