Re: my 1st Bicalcarata upper pitcher
Lets a newbie, me answer the question raised here.
Most of nepenthes will produce lower and upper. When the plant is small, all of them are lower pitcher. And most of time, it is fatter and produced at lower level. When the plant grow tall untill certain stage, it will produce intermedia pitcher then upper pitcher. Upper pitcher will be slim, thin. Some nepenthes upper and lower pitcher will looks totally difference, most well known N. rafflensiana is 1 of it. What mentioned above only happen after few years and the plant is growing in nice and good environment. BTW, that is nice upper pitcher. But, I still prefer lower pitcher. MAy I know how tall and how big the is the plant? How long is the leaf? I had seen Fauzi N. bicalcarata that is huge and it is higher then 1 floor... The plant with him for 8years+ |
Re: my 1st Bicalcarata upper pitcher
