« Reply #1 on 15 Oct, 2007, 22:26 »Khairim, are lycopodiums sensitive to temperature/humidity fluctuations? I have never tried one before, and I thought of getting one but since you grow them (and perhaps other forum members as well?) I might as well find out first. I had bad experiences growing something that needs high humidity and good ventilation because my area hardly provides either one http://s4.images.proboards.com/angry.gif Link to Post - Back to Top http://s4.images.proboards.com/ip.gif Loggedsweethalo

Lyco is easy to grow BUT difficult to propogate.

Here the tips for you.

In jungle, they are epiphyte. But when you grow in your garden, the best method for me is by using plastic pot. Why? Its will maintain the damp condition longer than clay pot.

Media : I used 100% moss - its enough if you just using the low class moss. Why? Again. its will maintain the damp condition longer than other media.

Used to have those Paku Tunjuk Langit at my fathers' orchard... Long long time ago (but not that long... I'm not THAT old, duh!) I think in rubber plantations in Kampungs u can still find them...

Hi Shawn

Inspired from your photos*biggrin2*....so I moved all the plants to my mother's home.....and of course with the bigger area than my home.

They look great and I imagine the shade cloth will really help keep them in fine form!
