Hi Poweramps

Thanks

Just for info i kinda wanna use it for my some of my neps which does better in cooler conditions like lady pauline..Maybe ventricosa or anything...Just thinking if that pot is big enough for 3 S sized plants...And is the drainage hole good enough..There are no holes at the bottom.

Hey aaron

So you use them for your neps? Do you take out the black colour "net" or something at the bottom? Anyways you think it'll fit a few S sized neps?

Hi Ali

I also doubt the ID ur the second to tell me thats a x gentle but when i take a look at N x gentle it has much richer and vibrant colours than this...if im not mistaken bifurcatum/Law helped me ID this plant...Its my first plant where when i got it has only 5 leaves...Now its a vining plant..Heres an old pic of its intermediate...It doesn't have much of thos anymore..In the old pic you can see some lower pitchers like the one beside the one im taking a pic of

If that's N. gentle than mine is too. Mine resembles Ken's 100%. Ken, I do not take out the black net like thing.

Ken, you are not supposed to take out the black plastic net. These types of pots are designed so that there is a layer of water below the soil, keeping the medium constantly moist. If you remove the net, then your medium will be in direct contact with water and may stay too wet. Personally I find these pots suitable for people who do not water their plants too frequently or for planting in drier environments (like a balcony). The presence of only 1 drainage hole at the side is not sufficient, considering the pot is rather deep. And be careful not to use fine material (peat) as the particles will clog up the holes in the netting, and pretty soon your plant will be waterlogged. I found that out the hard way with other garden plants when using a plastic 'flowerbed' which has a similar semi-hydroponic concept.. :)
