"New Nepenthes", Stewart McPherson's new release

Hello,

The casual reader might be suprised to discover a new Nepenthes monography after the recent and comprehensive "Pitcher Plants of the Old World" (2009), which actually also included the genus Cephalotus.
Actually, an important number of new Nepenthaceae have been discovered during the three years since the publication of the 2009 monograph .
"New Nepenthes" by Stewart McPherson documents all new taxa that have been discovered and described in this span of time. This new title includes the formal scientific descriptions of eight new Nepenthes species, along with the presentations of over a dozen further recently described taxa that have not been covered in any past book.
The chapters in this work are arranged as regional groupings.

The cover shows Nepenthes appendiculata:

All the best,

François.

Pitcher of old world has two volumes. I recon you need both this new book and the old one. Total 3 books. Teoo you dad that he can get maximum tax deduction of RM1000 if buy three.

I think everyone recommends both since volume 2 is more like a continuation of volume 1. Ban Aik, if we really can deduct the tax by RM1000, how much would a single book costs roughly? :1thumbup:

That will depends on the person's tax bracket. Maximum is 27% in Malaysia. You earn less tax bracket is low 10%. Don't tell me you're paying tax already at your young age!!!

Anyway, I am interested to get one copy, if there is others please add to the list below:
