what's wrong with my Flava??

My flava.. leaves of one rhizome r getting wither in the way i've never seen before. its whole tubes of this rhizome go wither. but other rhizomes r still fine. they'r producing normal leaf as i see. i put it direct sunlight all day with water level almost half of the pot. there were raining a couple of day before. not sure if it because of too much water or too strong sunlight? i live in Bangkok, Thailand now the temp is around 31-35 c (87-95 F)..hot!
or do you think it's getting into dormancy? i bought it while it had some phyllodia leaf. so i'm not sure it was during dormancy and i continue forcing them to grow. or its dormancy were finished and start to grow. at first i bought this plant it looked more healthy it produced sweet liquid around the tube but now it look a bit drier. however some rhizomes keeps producing new normal leaf and it look fine.
what should i do with my plant? should i set dormancy for it? is the hot temp here will be a problem? next month temp will be around 44 c (111f)
please help...
thank you so much!

How long have you had it? If it has only been a few weeks the plant might still be adjusting. It will drop a few pitchers while it adjusts. Other than that it might have aphids of mealy bugs.

It looks like the problem is low humidity. The scorching and drying of the older pitchers are indicators of this. Try to increase the humidity by blocking cross winds/draughts if you have them. The amount of sunlight is good and the water level should be fine. If they have been in the pot for a long time (hard to tell if you only just got them) I would recomend repotting them. Cheers.

Re: what's wrong with my Flava??

i bought this flava on 30 jan 2009 and repotted this flava on the same day i didn't disturb its root at all. old pot was full of root.. so tight as i hardly saw medium. I just put it in bigger pot and add more medium. it looked fine for me for now it's about 2 months. problem came just a few day before..
anyway today i noticed some small white insect.. very tiny ones around below rhizome area. not sure if it's mealy bug.. they don't stay at same spot. so i spray (...some kinda pest killer for plant... don't know how to explain in eng. (S85) it worked well with my sundew before. ) after spraying they run up all over.. i saw them around 10-15 .. not sure if those small insects cause this problem..
and one more problem .. after i spray my plant for an hour later. i put my plant outside almost full sun with little shade.. and water tray just about 2 inches.. a couple hours later lucky i'm at home today. my plant seemed to be dehidrating.. i moved it in shade and water it from top for a few times .. not sure it was about pest killer.. after that it look better but some leaf remain wilther.
i hope my plant will be ok.. it's really expensive for me 1800 Baht .. it's really big flava..
any idea to avoid this pest? my plant's gonna be allright?
thank you very much for ur help
