That isn't so expensive. That are very simple plastic petri dishes. I had the luck that I didn't even had to pay for them. I got them from a good friend who is working in such a company but nevertheless they shouldn't be so expensive. The living sphagnum is from my sarracenia area and didn't cost me anything also.

that petri dishes wasn't expensive, but it is the live sphagnum that is expensive, it's sort of rare here...

sphagnum moss are common in part of lowland where the conds are favourable, and in intermediate and H/L they are more widespread.

What a coincidence, this morning saw a greenish thingy on my N.fusca seeds tray which i has given up hope on. Turn out got 1 seed germinated but the top growing into the sm. I used a tweezer to remove the sm around the thingy and saw two small leaves buried in the sm. So i just turn it upright and hope that it will be alright.

Re: Nepenthes seeds germination

weird stuff happens here...seeing some of the "germination" on my pot, most of them looks like seeds of other plant/weedy grass because the green stuff grows till the seeds get pushed up realizing that it actually emerge from a tiny seed that looks like biblis seeds, being lazy, I left it there, till now...I saw an awkward growth on one of the new leaves...a pitcher...
