Stuff you have been doing
 

Hi everyone

Just a thread to ask everyone about what were or are they doing to they're CPs for the last few weeks or months:biggrin:Can be anything like building something for your CPs etc etc etc......I'm sure everyone has did something extra for they're CPs:tongue: If you have done something to affect the CPs growth do share what happens to your CPs after you did what you intended to do....Good or bad doesn't matter.....so that other people could learn well.....from your mistakes?? lol...:blush:

Okays heres mine

Bought a rack for CPs = whole balcony looks neater

Feeding some neps with micro fish pellets = The next pitcher slightly bigger about 2-3cm

Sowed nepenthes seeds = Germination not good....1/3 pots has only germinated and the pot which has germination only has 7 seedlings

Tried growing 2 nepenthes using saucers/trays

Nepenthes Rafflesiana = Good response pitchers did somehow get much bigger than previous but could be other reasons

Nepenthes Truncata = Bad respoense new leaf was very weak and crumply looking


Well thats what i've been doing soo when you're free just take a little timeoff:biggrin:And share:biggrin:

You are lucky that your nep seeds have germinated, I haven't had any germination myself :( Where do you put your nep seeds? full sun?

Well you might have sowed ur seeds later :P So probally haven't germinated yet.....I sowed mine about a month and 1 week ago.....I put them in partial shade and probally just a few hours of full fun a day

Mine haven't germinate too..very sad and dissapointing.

I'm building a HL terrarium Ken and getting ready for the plants from EP to arrive.
Other plants are doing great.

My parents are going Hong Kong but don't know whether want to follow or not cuz my plants will die like last time when my 4 neps died when i went Germany for two months.I don't want it to happen again..;)

In the last couple of the months.

- Moving plants from greenhouse to shadehouse.

- Water (I gone through 2000 litres in this time)

- cross pollinating Drosera binata varieties.

- Harvest seeds.

- Brought more plants, even has I run out of space.

Well, here's what I did.......

Prepared a bucket filled with water for my latest and most precious collection of CPs.

Currently drying up LFS that I left waterlogged for two days(stinks!!)

Germinating burmanii, indica and intermedia seeds

Otherwise, I didn't do much, I don't have money and space to make a terrarium.....:biggrin::biggrin:

i have been neglecting them! dont even have time to look at them. just study study study!

I've been germinating some droseras(only burmanii and capensis), trying to get some genlisea and utrics to germinate, and experimenting with tricoderma and peat tea.
