An interesting one is the one with maxima. N. maxima is a very dominant species when it comes to traits passed on to any hybrid, but when it's crossed with aristolochioides, the battle for the dominant traits starts http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...xxaristo21.jpg colour and overall appearance from mommy maxima, but look at the shape of the peristome very aristolochioidish! http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...xXaristo22.jpg The hood of aristolochioides pitcher is visible from a lateral view Gus Link to Post - Back to Top http://s4.images.proboards.com/ip.gif Logged rainforestguy Senior Member http://s4.images.proboards.com/starblue.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starblue.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starblue.gifhttp://s4.images.proboards.com/starblue.gif member is offline Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 386 http://s4.images.proboards.com/xx.gifRe: maxima X aristolochioides « Reply #1 on Jan 11, 2008, 6:54am » Nice specimen. I've flowered about twenty plants all were males. I have yet to meet a female of this hybrid. If that is female, I would like to send you some pollen.
