This is difficult because most pitcher plants grow very big after some time. Campanulata is an exception but its rare(not recommended for newbies) and expensive(cost me RM75).

N. tobaica seems to remain small for me, but pitchers fairly readily...of course that could just be it being stunted from being forced to grow lowland...

For small and reasonably priced nep, you can try N. bellii, got green and orange variety.

N. campanulata is also good but not cheap. Hope this help.

I thought N.Tobaica grows well in both highland and lowland conditions?Or is it stays small naturally?

I agree with Robert, bellii is a low priced plant but not recommended for newbies cuz it will eventuallly die from shock if the roots are disturbed so that's what i'm afraid of.Nothing else.

Maybe you can try out albomarginata. They stays compact though.

Staying small eh? I don't think there is any or much neps which actually stay small...Like they said belii campu those are kinda small but especially campu its not recmmended for begginers...Albo is also good..Maybe veitchii hybrids which will make hybrids which don't climb much..

Muluensis, mikei, gymnamphora are also small growing plants but they are highlands though eventhough gymnamphora grows well in LL conditions.

I'm still experimenting, but N. mikei seems to be able to take the heat of the day taking almost direct sun...and is happy enough to pitcher, so maybe that'll work.

IMHO, N albomarginata can get quite big, I have seen plants with leave span up to 1.5ft in diameter.
