Yah, what media is more suitable.

a very well drain media 60%peat /40% perlite, 100% coarse burnt clay or unburnt clay.

Robert, do you think adding seashell chips or broken marble chips will help to maintain the alkalinity of the medium after the potting mix is aged (2-3 years)?? Is it neccessary to do so?? Thanks.

I never try adding those stuffs, not sure other members, if so let's hear what their comments are.
