to my fellow CPers

to all my fellow CPers, it's with a heavy heart that i'm announcing that i'm (temporary) giving up on growing CPs. my working schedule and the frequent travelling really doesn't allow me to grow them any more. my drosera and vft populations are down to zero and i only have neps and cephs left which i hope will survive my neglect.

i'll still try to pop in to the forums once in a while but i'm afraid i won't be as active as before. i'll be trying to grow some begonias, hoyas and maybe amorphos and see if they can survive my neglet. hopefully, i'll get to grow some AVs on my office table too!

but i do still hope to be able to grow droseras again in the future, but this is still, goodbye for now!

Wow, so sad Hongrui! Thank you for all your help in the past and we have really enjoyed getting to "know" you here through the forum. On the bright side - Hoyas are one of the few plants that THRIVE on neglect! Please PM/e-mail me if I can keep you supplied with such plants that fit your busy schedule. I still have a number of amorphos 'staked' out to dig for you when they go dormant. And...I think I can speak for a lot of us whom you have helped when I say I'll be happy to help you re-start your CP collection when your situation changes again! And it will, once a CPer - always a CPer!
Bye for now my friend!
Shawn

This is so sad hongrui... You had such a great collection and you grow them so well. I do hope your work would allow you to grow CPs again. Do keep in touch and drop by if you have the time.

Yaa, I second what Shawn said that we will be happy to help you re-start your CP collection when your situation change.

Hi Hongrui, how sad that you have to give up hobby because of work. Hope your "temporary" won't be long.
We still need your advice, help and experience in here, so please if you can (we hope you can), squeeze some time to login here as frequent as you can.
Take good care, don't over work!!!

edmund & robert, thanks for the confidence in me. LOL. Or are you guys confident of my lack of will power?

actually i'm starting to see some pitchers forming again on some of my neps and perhaps you guys will see a thread started by me showing how my abandoned neps are doing.
