I'm so jealous. Seems like everyone is getting rarer plants every few months.

I'm getting scared. My cobra has lost a pitcher already. Don't want it too die too quickly.

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

I'm surprised.Out of 20 seeds,only 3 germinated and they all look like cobra.Cute though;)

Re: What a DARLING.......

That is darlingtonia's way, very difficult to grow from seeds. Slow and to mantain the seedlings needs more attention.

Re: What a DARLING.......

Marvin, darlingtonias are SLOW!!! Or if you have the patience to wait 4-5 years.

Re: What a DARLING.......

Marvin was that a joke :D........Like Aaron said they'll definitly take years to grow to a mature plant from seed.....I would think it might take longer than that.....Even neps grown from seed need about 4 years to become a mature plant.

Re: What a DARLING.......

Darlingtonias take at least 15 years to reach full maturity. However, they take at least 5 years to start growing stolons and flowering.

Unless you can wait, which I can't..........boohoohoo
