Hi..... I'm new here

Hi guys;

I'm new here and just been interested in this hobby since 2 months ago. I've purchased 25 VFT seeds from ebay and sowed them.... but I think it won't germinated. I forgot to cold stratify them... Now I'm waiting for another 10 seeds from an online seller.... cost me another RM:spinning:

I use a peat called Holland peat. I don't get any idea what it is actually... I hope it's ok for my VFT seeds.

I don't know about this forum before.... If I know it, I'll ask your guys opinion before I make the purchasing.... Just in case somebody willing to sell some of his VFT to me:shy:.

Thx for this forum..... I believe it's really help me.....

Welcome to the forum. There is lots of great advice here.

With your seeds that you have sown you can still put the whole punnet in the fridge to give straitication. Personally I use Canadian peat, low in nutrients and acidic.

Personally, for sarrasenia, and nepenthes. I prefer to buy adult plant and grow them, instead of grow from seeds. It take times!!! only can see 10cents!!! I dont have such patients!!!

For VFT, if as what others said, need 2 ~ 3 yrs to reach matured, then, I also will not try it as well... Too long!!!

anyway, welcome to PetPitcher!!!

Cheers!!!!!
