N. campanulata flowering
hi all, I'm having a Nepenthes Campanulata that has a branch of rounded thingy on it, looks like flowering, but not sure male or female, having one more which show signs of the same but yet to grow out from the leaf wrapping, may I know how to sex n. campanulata, thanks:smile:

Yeah can't see the picture clearly enough to help. Have a look at this link. It will show the difference between male and female flowers. Cheers.

Basically a males (bulb thingy) is rounder and the females are more teardrop shape...I got a red dragon flowering too...Not sure what sex is it..Some are teardrop-like some are rounded

thanks a lot for the information, mine is rounded and very tiny, only a few bulb, will wait till the flower to open and reconfirm:smile:

My campa is flowering now and I think it's a female !! *biggrin2*
I want to breed pure campanulata so anyone got campanulata pollen pls let me know. If successful in collecting seeds, we'll split 50 / 50, thanks. :smile: |

I think my campa flower will be opening this week. Timing is very tight... :unsure: I'll take a pic tomorrow to show you, C Way.
Kevyn, Seed grown campa.... I think it's very rare !!! *biggrin2* Most campa on the market are TC plants. I hope everything will go according to plan and manage to harvest viable seeds from this breeding. :smile: |
