Bulbophyllum medusae

Sharing this with you guys.

Found this in my garden this morning. Never has it been giving me so many flower stalks after so many years of keeping it. Sadly it's a short lived flower that only last for several days.
Enjoy!

Their regional distribution is quite wide. I'm sure you can fin it at your local plants nursery. Yup. that's bellina in the background. It have nice rounded leaves unlike it's violacea cousin. Just love its heavily scented flowers especially in the morning.

Very nice... :) Medusae lasts about 3 days for me.. I find the plant terribly rot-prone though.. The new growths, old bulbs and rhizome also can rot.. Ironically, it likes very moist conditions to grow well.. :p

Yes, that's very true. I never get any big clump out of it after so many gears of keeping. Thanks for the tips.
