My littlest Nepenthes Connoisseur

Back in February 2008, he's just learning to stand unassisted, crawling barely a few weeks before.

And in December 2008, surprise, surprise, he's ready to join Ch'ien Lee in one of them expeditions :)

Look at how big he's grown, and he still accompanies me while I'm tending to my CPs, the lil' man just love 'helping' out in the garden - him making more of a mess (ever heard of peat moss shower?) and me winding up with extra work, but what's not to love such youthful enthusiasm.

And there's loads of ideas in that bald head of his, such as feeding lollipop to the fishes & giving his grandma's ornamental ducks a bath!

Ken, peat moss shower is what you get when scoopfuls of peat thrown in the air, covering everyone and everything in peat. Oh yes, while throwing it, scream this at the top of the lung "Whee, whee..." :glare:

Ed,

Yeah the peat shower is fun for him, but not for the clean-up crew  You try getting peat out of diapers! If he can't get his chubby fingers on the scoop, he'll just grab whatever he can.:glare:

We just got him some gardening tools of his own to get him out of trouble, he's been scooping earth from one part of the garden to another.

Just have to make sure that we hide the mini-hoe that my mom uses, he's been claiming it as his own - it's a bit dangerous for kids his age. That kid is in LOVE with any rake, hoe, broom, mop & dustpan, fact is anything with long handle he sees as potential toys. Janitors with their pushcart are his hero!

Kids, how do deal with them? Just when you want to reprimand him, he looks at you with this big shiny eyes (not unlike Puss in Boots in Shrek!) and gives you this huge smile that will get him out of trouble everytime!

Cute little guy you have there Athene . I bet that's the green finger touch coming his way. Children nowadays really have a smart mind of their own when it comes to what grown ups tell them not to do :2thumbup: I believe he'll start asking all kinds of questions soon enough, but trust me Athene, those questions will astound you :1thumbup:
