Re: Capensis seeds =)

Hi, at first my Capensis were doing well, David even asked me how I keep them. Then Suddenly they would all just die. Also I have never actually even gotten their flowers to give me seeds, the flowers will wilt and no seeds at all.

A friend of mine who lives in Intermediate conditions is able to keep them quite happy, but me in lowland Manila, not successful yet.

I am going to try a different set up which involves a top cover to prevent them from getting rained on, etc.

Marvin can you share how you keep your capensis happy? Outdoors? etc.

Hi,
I get my first Capensis last years and it still alive now. I grow them without any problem at all. Here is a pics of it. Not very big with who grow in intermedia condition. I just cover them with plastic to prevent from getting damage from rain.

You have a robust capensis there Tranminh! I have a pot once but I grew them indoors, and this made them grow smaller over time, so I passed this to a good friend and the plant managed to recover and do well under the new conditions, which is no doubt, outdoors but under light shade. :1thumbup:
