Hi Azra, it looked typical to me too. Where did you get this pet from? It looked healthy. :1thumbup:
Did you place it under full sunlight? VFT love sunlight.

Hi Auro

Umm well VFT consist of only one species which u probally knew already...There are many many variations anyways yours does look like the normal form which will develop a nice reddish colouration if you give it direct sunlight..but of course not or 90% not on the foliage of the plant just the trap...

But for yours to turn dark red cooler temperatures are needed. The most colorful traps are produced in the fall here in New York.

Oh, really? It is ok as long as it is healthy!

TS:
Yeah, I think so. I bought it on my visit to Cameron Highland.
My VFT has it necessary sunlight. ;)

kentosaurs:
I see. Thank you.

alcran:
Wow, that is cool. But, mine will be greener I guess since I live in a tropical country.

Re: ID for my Venus Trap

That should be a green form, unless you didn't provide it full sunlight. But if the traps are really big, then it could be a form of big trap.

Cheers

i think my vft is the green form. The sunlight is enough since I put it at my balcony which received the morning sunlight until afternoon. Thank you. :)
