Re: Cephalotus pics - rhizhomes and pitchers in hot weather
hahahah ... you can make them as aquatic moss also and mixed sand/mud/peat can do well for them. I like the color as well. Once they grow stable, you can a lot "bling bling bling" on your pot hahahaha...

The rhizomes, which were placed on live sphagnum moss 2 weeks ago, are now producing buds. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...ph_rhizome.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...h_rhizome1.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...h_rhizome2.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...h_rhizome3.jpg |

Edmund, they are in a box with a lid that is half open for air circulation. I tried covering completely before. No good 'cos mould started to grow on the rhizome.

Re: Cephalotus pics - rhizhomes and pitchers in hot weather
I don't plan to cut up the rhizome because the plants will end up very small. Each rhizome will be potted up as a plant and will soon produce large pitchers or a large clump pf pitchers.
