crow attack

shytes...

its the third time crows have been pecking on my VFT but now, its the worst. the whole pot fell to the ground, and most of the plants in that pot appear to be damaged.. hopefully theyll recover..

this is what it looked like:-

now, separating the plants, ive got 5 out of the pot.
as you can see, most of em are damaged.

Don't worry. They don't look too damaged. They will recover quickly. Just make sure enough sunlight and humidity is high.

Hi malowie,

Your VFT doesn't look that bad. It should recover nicely for you. Hope your plant is getting sufficient sun light.

Re: crow attack

Hahaha thanks Malowie. Hope your plants recover soon.

Re: crow attack

The damage isn't too bad. Your plants will recover just fine. If you continue to get attacked though, I would consider putting them in something so that the crows couldn't get at them. I built a little bottomless cage to set over the top of my plants to keep the birds and squirrels away. It works great!

Re: crow attack

hey, don't worry, that VFT looks quite ok, at least they are growing new traps. This is the wonder of plants especially CPs, they don't retaliate when attacked, instead they just try to grow back to normal.:2thumbup:

Though CPs do retaliate on bugs......hahaha

By the way, maybe a scarecrow should work on crows, or you could buy a walking robot that operates 24 hours non-stop. hehehe:laugh::laugh: maybe the crows will be scared.

Hows your damaged sarras?

Cheers
