Well, I went to the Post Office today to mail off some seeds and discovered some new Thai postage stamps... well, 2006 but new to our p.o.! Sorry, the pictures are not so good, my flash is either on or off!

that stamp of N. mirabilis looks like N. x ventrata!

Malaysian stamps on Nepenthes

Yesterday was one of the hapiest day of my life. I walked into a book store in The Mall and fumble upon the Nepenthes stamps that I was looking for for a very ong time. I grabbed all they had.

Thanks to Shawn, I now also have the Thai CP stamps.

Here's how the Nepenthes stamps look like...

Are those stamps still in circulation or very old prints and thus not available in post offices in Malaysia?

OoOoOoOoo i didn't know that malaysia actually produces nepenthes stamps if i see them i'll grab them to lol.I can only identify the 3rd and 4th stamp which is a N lowii N rajah others no idea

These stamps are not in circulation anymore. It was launched quite a long time ago. That's why these are used stamps with the post office stamp/chop on them.

Ken,
(from left to right): N. sanguinea, N. macfarlanei, N. lowii, N. rajah. i would say the mac is a little difficult to identify. Perhaps the colours are different a little on the stamps

I found out that my dad has the stamps. He has the first day cover too. He had been collecting first day covers for more than 20 years. I found them while helping my dad arranging his first day covers.
