I thought the same thing Aaron! It's a beauty Cindy. What is the nicely colored leaf directly behind it in the first photo (with the dark green centers and lighter outer edges)? Almost looks like some variegated plants I've seen elsewhere. Looks nice...is it always like that or is this just a temporary thing?

Gosh! I'd better be careful how and where I photograph my plants next time. :laugh:

That's the macrovulgaris x reinwardtiana. A BE hybrid but they don't offer it anymore. This plant's growing needs eludes me. It came in August 2006 and didn't do well until this year. I thought it liked more light at first because it started pitchering during the brighter months. Then a few tendrils dried up after that. Now it is back to pitchering and the leaves are turning darker. The leaves are always maroon.
