Flowering Sarracenia~
Hey, i'm still a newbie and now i would like to post my sarracenia picture, and my question is, How long does my sarracenia had to take in order to have it's seed through self-fertilisation? And what is it's name? XD*biggrin2**biggrin2*:spinning:

Your plant is most probably S. x chelsonii. You need to give it full sunlight to bring out the red colour. You won't get seeds if you do not pollinate your Sarracenia flower. Do you pollinate the flower?

Hmm...but i very sure that i gave it 100% light!!!
Strangely, it just appear a red and lots of green when i cover it with a plastic cover... Hehe, i did not do that, because that time i was on my National Service....just hope that God got help me pollinate when the flower rise up when it bloom.....Hehe... |

My experience is 4 months if you pollinate the flower. Full sunlight means direct sun from morning until evening. No need to worry about the hot temperature. Mine survive very well although the temperature exceed 40 degree Celcious.

Same. Just bake it under the hot sun. But remember to put in on water tray.
