Re: Hoya sp
Cyrtoceras floribundum, most likely! There's 3 Hoya that look almost exactally the same except for the angles of the tip of the flower. H. Javanica is one of the others and the last escapes me now. Look up a thread called "Hoyas HO" where there are some close-ups of the flower...I think I also posted a link to David Liddel's explanatory photos there. Of course it might have been on a thread on the 'old' Pet Pitcher site!
This is an easy grower, but unlike most hoyas prefers soil and grows as a bush not a vine. It seeds heavily (mine anyway, with a pod or 10 every few months). Just catch the seed before it blows away! Good luck with it. |

Thanks for the id Shawn, appreciated it.

Re: Hoya sp
Hi.. i'm kinda new here so hahah...? wads Hoya? Is it a type of carniverous plant? i feel so stupid lolx!
|
Re: Hoya sp
Hi xmagicsZ, Nope, Hoyas are not carnivorous but some of us like them anyway! They are usually vining plants that tend to have really nice balls of flowers which 'usually' have an amazing fragrance (often only at night). This particular Hoya is not a good example of the species as it is quite different from the 'normal'.
