sorry about that,my guess is that theres bird that tries to have the grain of pollen inside,so so easien the job,the pluck of those petals.but i dont think the stigma was destroyed.just try to pollinate when the grains are collected :)

cant pollinate them .............T.T
the flower "leaves" just fell off whtn i touched it ............
and the internal has a few yellow "sticks" left
most will be blown by the wind.....:crying:

Still looks like it can pollinate. Must be birds.....I'm betting a small black bird. Possibly a jackdaw? I have a lot of experience with small black birds taking a bite at my sarra....

another thing is the weather ............it has been raining cats n dogs lately............
and today before i touched the petals i noticed a dried up petal .............
and the pitchers are deformed lately.............:crying:

imho it's too late.
lose most of all the pollen.
and if the petal drops, mean end of pollinate time.

Oh no...........:crying:
It's ok..I will wait for it to flower next time.........
But what do I do now??????cut off the flower stalk?
It is effecting the pitchers growth.......

I usually do not cut the flower stems they will be, even if not pollinated. cut or not, will not affect the growth of pitchers

you knw what happen to my late Rubra last few months?
its flowering,during rain season,and under attack by mealy bugs.the plant died :(

kepikimut,is it ok to uproot sarr when flowering?

Just to share i did a reporting of my flowering sarr (already pollinated) and it seem to be fine and now a produce a second flower for me.
