Re: Drosera after the heavy rain!
Hey Lim, No fair, you have a net over your droseras! Those nets will surely help in making the raindrops smaller and less harsh.
Me? As I don't have a net over most of my droseras, I have to rely on plastic covers to protect them from directly being rained on. Great drosera collection! :) TTFN Arvin |
Re: Drosera after the heavy rain!
The shade cloth is actually behind my D. filiformis.
Shade cloth gather the rain water and make the rain drops bigger. And it may destroy the seedlings. |
Re: Drosera after the heavy rain!
Oh, so your droseras are not under the shadecloth? Wow!
In my experience there are areas that the water will pool and drop in big clumps as you said, but this is only where the net/shade cloth level is low. I resort to putting plastic covers like plastic cups over my droseras, but often that also leads to molds and fungus! So your system still is better. TTFN Arvin |

Oh Lim, your place is the insects' paradise! Once they're there, they'll be meeting their creator in no time!
