Congratulations Ifurita! Great looking collection. That R. dentata has tweaked my interest...I'm not familiar with it, but boy its got a beautiful leaf form!
So how many years ago was it when you started getting infected? |

Re: The CP showcase
Simply amazing that you have all the genera of CPs. Hope you could shed some light on how to grow the more rare ones so that we can learn.

Re: The CP showcase
Congratulations on a complete collection!!
I have one comment the picture of P. sp. "Tolantonga" has a Capensis trying to hog the picture, and the Ping just looked so nice and cute, maybe you can try taking another photo of it solo? :) hehehe, it really looks so cute. Well don't get me wrong your Capensis looks in great shape as well, did it invade your Ping pot? Or was it intentional? TTFN Arvin |
Re: The CP showcase
Thanks for the encouraging comments everyone!!
Hi shawnintland, Yup, I like the R. dentata too! Its quite fuss free too, but man did it take a long time for the seed to germinate(I grew this one from seed). I've liked CPs for a long time, but only really started growing then around 3-4 years ago when I had to do some research on a local nep population during my uni days. Hi malowie, They were obtained from two different european nurseries via mass orders. They were actually fairly cheap, the Darlingtonia for example cost me about 20SGD after(not before) adding in the shipping and cert costs, which is a lot cheaper than quite a good number of my neps and other stuff. Hi David, I'm no expert, but sure if anyone here needs any info on how to grow any of these, I can share what works for me. What are you all interested in? Hi Arvin, Sure, I'll go charge my digicam batts and try and get in a pic of just the ping alone. The capensis just happened to pop up and since it wasn't bothering the ping, I just left it there. lol. For the time being, here's a random pic taken of one of my plants by a friend of mine who has a better camera and is much, much more skilled than I in using it: http://www.hexazona.com/hwchoy/galle...0119_6184_.jpg |
