Do you ferlilize them? Nice wild look. http://s4.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif Love the N. veitchii x (maxima x veitchii). Peristome so wide... The red strips makes a very nice contrast to the background green of the peristome. I have a miranda and the uppers are similar to your mixta but pitchers are straighter. I noticed your mixta's uppers are curved like a horn. Interesting. I still don't known how to differentiate them. But if I based on your picture jk, I'd assume, that Mixta would have a more pronounce horn shape. Is this the correct way to ID the plant? The lower and upper pitcher looks like Miranda, but the leafs grow more compact compare to miranda. http://s4.images.proboards.com/smiley.gif http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r...m/DSC00337.jpg http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r...m/DSC00338.jpg Link to Post - Back to Top http://s4.images.proboards.com/ip.gif Logged jk New Member http://s4.images.proboards.com/star.gif member is offline http://s4.images.proboards.com/avatars/smiley.gif Joined: May 2007 Posts: 42 Location: Honolulu, Hawaii http://s4.images.proboards.com/xx.gifRe: Misc photos « Reply #5 on Dec 22, 2007, 2:46am » The ID of the "Mixta" is questionable. It was sold to me with a different name tag that was incorrect, according to even the seller. Since I am worthless at IDing Neps, I asked for help on another CP forum and posted photos of the pitcher and leaves. Mixta got the most votes, although Miranda was a close second. I fertilize my Neps with half strength fish emulsion and seaweed extract every two weeks or so.
