Hi all, I am Boon from penang, I am stil very new to this forum and I am a begineer in keeping pitcher & air plant. I have interest at this pitcher thingy after I saw them in a wholesale store at Ringlet, Cameron Highland. I bought 2 pots of Nepenthes home and now I separated them to 9 pots and they are growing well. I am now looking forward to try other plants as well. Pls let me know if they are any free plants or seeds to be given to newbie like me.

Welcome, Boon! Don't worry, there are lots of chances to get seeds or plants from this forum! What nepenthes do you have? If you are not sure, you may post a picture of your neps and let us identify it!:smile:

i alredi order some venus fly trap & Sarra seeds from ebay recently.. trying to grow them myself rather then buying a "ready-make" plant. Wil take pics of my NP when I free, but i think those are common species

I bet those plants you bought are xVentrata and xMiranda.

BTW, there is a 95% chance that the VFT seeds that you got are typical version. Not to make you unhappy, just to say, if you wanna get the cultivars like akai ryu or B52, growing from seeds are almost impossible.

Anyways, you can get it from some of us....

i bought 2 types, 1 pot each, one green cup & one reddish...
but the reddish one now turning to greenish.. duno why...:crying:
