Hi Replay, welcome to the forum. With a Mediterranean climate you should be able to bypass the fridge dormancy as your winter should be mild enough for the plant to enter dormancy. i would just keep it drier though winter. I have attached the link for an article from this website that I wrote some time ago. Hope it helps.

I saw your post it was very helpful...
the climate here in the winter doesn't fall bellow 10°c is it good for dormancy? and by drier what do u mean? I must not water it for 4 months? |
Re: Serracenia in fridge for winter...HEEEELP
10 isn't too bad. If the days are cool also (below 20, ideally around 15) it should be ok. I know some people that have completely dried their plants for about 6 weeks. I would suggest just moist. By that I mean I wouldn't allow the peat to dry to the extent that it shrinks away from the pot but certainly not wet. As for the dormancy 6 weeks will be enough.

okay ill try that:) ill leave them outside and see what happens! should I put them in a plastic bag or not? and I imagine I must put it somewhere with a lot of shade eh?

You won't need a plastic bag if leaving outside. Shade isn't necessary but it is usually cooler. If you get any frosts then it doesn't hurt to leave the plants out in the frost.
