Position Vacancy on PetPitcher
 

As the forum is growing in membership and activities, we are looking for pro-active members who would like to contribute to the forum through the following positions:

• Moderators
• Global Moderators
• Executive Member

Responsibilities and Job Scope

Global Moderators and Moderators are the Marshals and Peacekeepers of the forum. They are given additional capabilities on the forum to moderate posts, threads and members to make sure that the forum is a pleasant place and in order. This would include mediating disputes or liaising with members when members break forum terms and conditions.

The Executive Member's primary role is in helping the decision making process and organization of activities and events, including issues related to the forum or its members. They do not have additional capabilities on the forum unless they are an Administrative staff and not all Executive Members are members of the Administrative board.

Requirements

As a Moderator or Executive Member, you are required to carry out your responsibilities on the forum and log into the forum on a regular basis. Your performance as a Moderator or Executive Member may be evaluated from time to time. These positions are not permanent positions and may be removed or changed. In the same way, you may also request to be removed from these positions at anytime or you may request to help out for only a certain period of time. It is understandable that everyone has seasons of busyness either with personal, family or work matters.

Join us if you would like to help out moderating the forum, its members and promoting Carnivorous Plants. We are also looking for members with good interpersonal skills and good administrative skills.

Please note that these are voluntary positions and responsibilities, and all for the sake of our beloved CPs and the promotion of them.

Below are the newly appointed Administrative Members of PetPitcher. All of them have been given moderator's capabilities and are members of the Administrative Board. Please work with them and lend your support:

Khoas - Advisor and Global Moderator
strath76 - Advisor and Global Moderator
paphioboy - Global Moderator
cpnut - Moderator for the Nepenthes boards
Jonathan - Executive Member

Khoas and strath76 has been Advisors for quite a while and they have agreed to help out as Global Moderators as well. Jonathan has been an Executive Member but now he has been given Moderator's capabilities. Paphioboy and cpnut are new leaders on the forum but the current Administrative members and I feel they are capable enough to be Moderators.
