Yeah, natural sun light is always the best for plants. Try to place it where it could receive more sunlight if you can but of course you must get something transparent to protect it from rain. :2thumbup:
I'm kind of worry about the algae on the moss, did you try doing something to get rid of them?

Sorry to hear that, I like your setup a lot, I hope you can keep it going and find a way against mosquitos.

The photos you took show that you had fish in the water, so how come there is still mosquitos?

Or what you mean is that at night you see a lot of mosquitos swarming in the tank but of course no larvae because the fish eat them?

My opinion:
1. If no larvae in tank, then that is not cause of your mosquito problem. Mossies might be attracted to your CPs, which is good, that would be food for your CPs and also keeps them away from people.

2. If have larvae in tank, then that is weird!

3. Worse case, try to move outdoors, where they can get more sun, and be happier.

I know for a fact that my Filiformis and my Binata can catch mosquitos.

Hi Arvin.
I know it a waste but no choice. There no larva inside my tank just the mosquitoes just flying around that area, which next to my baby room. i worry it will bite my baby so i need to clear it out. My rack already full with other Cps. No space for this tank. I already move the Cps back to the pot the tank i didn't throw still keep the U.Gibba. the Mosquitoes no more around that area.
I will redo again the tank but no this big maybe smaller.
then i will send pic again.
thank you...
