Re: Got a new ceph!
Marvin, here's how I pot my plants.
I use the Ikea terracotta pot, which is very cooling for the plants. I use a small handful of LFS as base, a mix of perlite, peat moss and vermiculite for the main media with perlite dressing on top. I reckon Cindy also has excellent results with her mix. Hope that helps. Alvin |
Re: Got a new ceph!
I have that pot too.The white one, right?but isn't that very big?
|
Re: Got a new ceph!
Nope Marvin, it's the grey one. Unglazed pot. It has a thin perforated centre which gives you the option of chipping a hole through it with a screwdriver and hammer. Comes in few sizes. Get the smallest one and don't have to fill it to the brim, just adjust the volume of medium to plant size. Enjoy! *biggrin2*

Re: Got a new ceph!
Marvin, the pot you can find in the garden section. Also repot your ceph ASAP coz the LFS looks a bit too wet. Did you put it indoors or outdoors? The black silica sand you can find in aquarium shops. Just ask for black sand. Your media can be peat/perlite or peat/sand.
