intermediate H/L hybrids tend to do well and tolerate lowland environment. Give them the cool shade and they reward with pitchers, though not awesome huge as in their original habitat.

I dunno if this can be considered but anyways since its a hybrid between a highland/intermediate and a highland/intermediate i shall post a pic of N cemerlang...Its BTW N veitchii x fusca..I seem to only be able to get pitchers max of 13-15cm...Only once it has shown its reddish colour on its pitcher but after that nothing just normal yellowish peristrome..I give it shade like you said..

Ken, N.xcemerland is considered highland intermediate.veitchii and fusca in nature also thrive in intermediate range 1000m asl. Most intermediate hybrid will grow well in lowland environment provided placed them in cooler environment,air-cond prefered which will produce larger pitchers.

I wanted to grow it in highland conditions but i decided not to cos i wanted to save space for later on highland neps which want soild highland conditions.........And do u have this plant????? Also what are those tiny leaves sticking out from the stem? Are those dormant nodes? Will they ever grow without me cutting the stem?BTW when im free i mist it and water it with iced water...

Ken, i bought cemerlang and lebih a month ago. Both are doing great.

The dormant nodes will develop only when the stems were cut.

I got in december thorelii (d) x truncata (c). It's in my lowland terrarium where I've got temperatures of 30°C at daytime and 23°C at nighttime. The plant didn't showed any stress from the long way from australia to germany. It already had two growing points and produced another two after a short time in the new home. EP sells this plant as small. I've got no idea what they would consider as big because in my sense this plant is big. It thrives excellent under the hot conditions. Here is a photo of it:

Hi Ken,
no I mean that I bought this plant as an S sized and it was already much more bigger than I expected. Nevertheless it grows like crazy and I fear that I won't be able to build my big lowland terrarium before that plant is too big for my actual lowland terrarium.
Ali ... you are right and also I'd like to add that their plants are extraordinary healthy and strong.
